...renter--> reach out to your owner for support. This is an HOA and we only support renters through the owners. 

Step 1: Submit a police report

1. Reach out to San Jose Police Department to report a crime.  https://www.sjpd.org/reporting-crime/report-crimes-online They will assign you a case number.

Step 2: Request security footage

1. Submit a work order. Provide the following information (note: if you do not provide this information we can't help you)

   • SJPD case number

   • Context - describe what happened

   • Date and time of incident (it can't be a time period of multiple weeks, it must be within a day or two)

   • Location - be specific

   • Any other contextual information (e.g. individual was wearing a baseball hat, had black jeans on, wore a red shirt, had a backpack, was riding a bike/skateboard, etc)

2. Note: this can take anywhere up to 3 weeks depending on availability of Board members/Victor to review the footage.

Security footage has to be manually reviewed - if the time period is too broad, we can't help you, there's not enough time in the day to support this. We have over 30 cameras angles to look through.
